Van Driver Contract Permanent

Van Driver – £32,000 – £33,000 (Full Time Job)

At Driver Hire Twickenham we have 3.5T van driving positions available with a respected and established high end secure delivery company transferring valuable goods.

The vehicle is a long wheel base transit van.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing pick ups and deliveries of high value shipments.
• Ensuring the safety of assets at all times.
• Driving the vehicle and following the road safety regulations.
• Completing daily reports and vehicle inspections.

Training will be provided.

Hours and Times of Work:

Alternating shift pattern of lates and earlies.

Early shift: 8am – 5pm

Late shift: 10am – 7pm

Overtime opportunities available and optional weekend work at an enhanced rate of pay and bonus. Weekend bonus is an extra £25 and pay is £18 per hour. Bank holiday bonus is £50 and pay is £18 per hour.

Key Skills and Requirements

• Full 3.5T UK License (Cat B) with no more than 6 points.
• Holding an SIA License is an advantage but not essential.
• Professional and positive demeanor.
• Excellent customer service.
• Having a security or military background is an advantage but not essential.

A DBS ( Criminal Record Check ) will be required, we can assist with the process.

Candidates must be over 22 years of age, due to insurance purposes.
