We are currently recruiting for a full time and permanent Van Driver/Fitter for our customer – one of the leading equipment rental companies in the UK. This permanent Van Driver role is based at their site in the Docklands, London.

As a Van Driver/Fitter you will be responsible for cleaning and checking all equipment before hire, and also the delivery and collection of survey and safety equipment to various customers’ premises.

Responsibilities: 

Multi-drop collection and delivery of equipment

Equipment demonstrations where required

Cleaning and checking all equipment to ensure it is fit for use before hire

Complete all necessary paperwork

Reporting of any damages of returned hire equipment

Vehicle safety checks  and keeping work areas clean and tidy at all times
Requirements:

2 years commercial driving experience

Multidrop experience in a customer-facing role

Punctual and good customer service

21 years + (insurance purposes)

No more than 6 points 
Shifts & Benefits:

Monday-Friday role

42.5 hours per week

7:30-4:30pm

£24K salary
